Foxy Visa provides the Visa On Arrival (VOA) for visitors from 96 countries entering Indonesia.
This visa is granted upon arrival at the airport and is valid for an initial 30 days, with a one-time extension of another 30 days. Post this period, departure from Indonesia is mandatory (new visas cannot be obtained within the country without exiting first).
The visa fee is 500,000 IDR (approximately $35).
Visa On Arrival Extension
The VOA, stamped in your passport upon arrival, is valid for 30 days and can be extended once for an additional 30 days. Subsequently, leaving Indonesia is necessary to obtain a new visa.
Documents Required for Extension
- Original passport (extension is not possible without it)
- Return ticket from Indonesia
Note: Damaged passports or entry stamps (torn, wet, etc.) may lead to rejection of extension by immigration services. Foxy Visa is not responsible for unsuccessful extensions in such cases.
Extension Costs
- 800,000 IDR: Standard rate, if contacted at least 10 working days before visa expiration.
- 1,300,000 IDR: Late application fee.
- 1,500,000 IDR: For China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, African countries (longer processing time).
- 1,800,000 IDR: If your passport validity is less than 6 months.
Payment Methods
Payments can be made online or in cash (to our courier or at our office).
Extension Process Timing
Begin the extension process 14 working days before your current visa expires. Your passport should be with us at least 10 working days before the deadline.
Passport Collection
Our courier will collect your passport from your location at a pre-arranged time. Courier service is free except to very remote areas. Note that if you are not present at the agreed time, a second courier visit costs 100,000 IDR.
Extension Procedure
You are required to visit the Immigration Office for biometrics. The passport cannot be retrieved from immigration until the extension stamp is received. Non-visa related issues can often be resolved with a passport copy or photo.
Cancellation Policy
No refunds are issued for canceled extensions.
Courier Service Charges
Courier services for passport collection and delivery are free, except in very remote areas of Bali. A re-visit by the courier, if you are not present as scheduled, costs an additional 100,000 IDR.
